4SiGHT Supply Chain Group, a leading supply chain consulting, engineering, and IT services provider, today announced it has enabled ABC Stores to execute on a new vision and operational enterprise-wide strategy to propel growth and long-term success. Once a small chain of convenience stores, Honolulu-based ABC Stores now serves a retail network of 82 outlets through two distribution centers. The growth in business scope and types of products offered led the company to engage 4SiGHT to develop an enhanced, technology-driven strategy for supplier collaboration and logistics. This centered on the need for stronger collaboration with ABC’s expanding supplier network, many of which are small local entities.

The 4SiGHT team worked closely with ABC to envision an advanced retail supply chain strategy that considered all relevant processes as well as organizational and technology implications. Because ABC anticipates a much higher percentage of its overall retail volume to include sales from groceries in the near future, 4SiGHT worked with ABC to evaluate all aspects of inventory planning and accounting, supplier collaboration, data integration and synchronization, and the use of mobility and edge solutions in its assessment and recommendations. 4SiGHT also worked closely with ABC to identify and vet their implementation partner for the initial financial phase of the project.
